The Owners call this unit "The Oasis." It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, ideally situated between two large grocery stores. It is only a short walk to the Salt Marsh Nature Center and the award-winning, recently upgraded Marine Park. Within a half-hour walk, you can see a first-run movie, have a nice meal, enjoy a day playing sports, go to the ocean or work out at the gym. The Boardwalk at Coney Island is within an hour's walk. Of course, if you drive a car, it is still more convenient than other locations, as there are no alternate side parking rules on this block. The B31 bus to the B/Q subway station, or the BM4 express bus to Manhattan stop just around the corner and across the street. One of the main attractions in "The Oasis" is the kitchen. Unlike many other properties in the area, it is not a narrow galley kitchen. This freshly-painted kitchen is spacious enough for a table that seats four people. The large pantry in one corner and lazy Susan cabinets in another are added touches that make the unit special. The kitchen has plenty of cupboards, a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, a gas stove, and a large refrigerator with an extra chiller drawer and an extra-large freezer with two drawers in it. The master bedroom has extra closet space as well, with top shelves for additional storage. Even with the extra closets, it is large enough for a king size bed, a dresser, and an armorer, but if extra floor space is needed, the extra closet can be removed. Lights have dimmer switches. It's is a gem that has been infused with love and the belief the next resident will enjoy it as much as they have.
